“Wrapped Up”—New Books Impact Catholic Women’s Study

(August 16, 2012—CINCINNATI, OH) Media expert Teresa Tomeo and Bible study author Cheryl Dickow have teamed up for Wrapped Up: God’s Ten Gifts for Women—a new book, companion journal, and audiobook for women releasing August 2012 from Servant Books.

Tomeo and Dickow offer a healthy alternative to the false messages women hear today and explore ten life-giving gifts, such as forgiveness and God’s love, that lead women to peace and fulfillment.

“In order to be truly wrapped up in God’s love, we need to be able to snuggle just a bit closer to the Lord and listen to what he wants to share with us concerning our true dignity,” says Tomeo. “The book and companion journal can help women do just that, especially with the fellowship and guidance of other sisters in Christ.”

All of the Wrapped Up components, while perfectly suited for individual study, are ideal for women’s groups, Bible studies, and book clubs. Each chapter of the book includes questions for contemplation centered around timely takeaways about media influence, from Tomeo, and timeless truths about Biblical women, from Dickow. The companion journal helps to deepen the truths with discussion questions, additional commentary from the authors, and room for personal reflections.
