ST. LOUIS – Inside Out Publishing, LLC, successfully introduced their best selling book Strings of Scripture: An Inspired Arrangement of the Living Word to thousands of attendees last week at the International Christian Retailers Show in Orlando. Several thousand bookstore owners, publishers, book distribution companies, representatives of Christian retail products, retail buyers, clergy, media and church bookstore representatives were in attendance at the annual event.
Strings of Scripture (SoS) is a poetic arrangement of Bible verses categorized by topics that are relevant to Christians today. The arrangement allows for the book to be used as an innovative tool for topical sermon preparation and bible study. Companion DVDs are also available.
Before the book’s official launch in Orlando, SoS had been launched softly, promoted solely through social media, special events, and online. The growing viral interest in Strings of Scripture has surprised the author and publisher, particularly because in less than 90 days, the Facebook page for Strings of Scripture amassed more than 47,000 fans.
According to Darrin Haugan of Inside Out Publishing, with each string that has been shared on Facebook, thousands of new fans are gained and hundreds of others share the message with their friends, with the result being that tens, if not hundreds of thousands of people are exposed to the creative presentation of scripture with each Facebook post.
“Clergy are always looking for ways to reach people in innovative ways, particularly the social media generation. Kelly D. Jones has found a way to tie the most important themes from the Bible together in a poetic form, while offering references that make the book an excellent tool for sermon preparation and an innovative study guide for youth and bible study groups. From what we have seen from the Facebook posts and the people who have contacted the author, the result is very impactful,” Haugan says.
Strings of Scripture is divided into Devotionals, Edifications, Emulations, Admonitions, Introspections, Contemplations, and Fundamentals.
