Just a quick announcement that my Ideacity TED talk from a few months ago is going to be featured tonight on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's national show "Ideas with Paul Kennedy." Here's a description of the program, which airs at 9 p.m. EST:
Friday, September 14
MOSES ZNAIMER'S IDEACITY, Part 2
This episode is about seeking faith. Speakers include Eric Weiner, journalist, traveller and the author of The Geography of Bliss: One Grump's Search for the Happiest Places in the World; Jana Riess, author of Flunking Sainthood; and Gretta Vosper, United Church Minister and author of With or Without God: Why The Way We Live is More Important Than What We Believe. Part 3 will air on Friday, September 21. For more information about ideacity and future conferences, visit the ideacity website.
Ideacity was a great event. Most of the presentations used slides in that slick TED talk-y way, but I think you'll still be able to get the gist even without the visuals. If not, it looks like my full presentation video is up at the Ideacity website.
(I'm not going to watch it or listen to it myself. For the last two years or so I've had a policy that once I've given a talk or an interview, I don't listen to it again later. Not revisiting that stuff keeps me sane. But I hope you enjoy it.)
I have a lot of speaking events coming up in the next two months, and I'll be sure to post links here from time to time.
